Roger Roger was initially shown as a single pilot programme in August 1996.Two successful series have followed. The pilot had a lot of rock music. Neil Morrissey played Phil Goode and his rock star hero Jimmy Price (played by Tony Head, now fighting off evil in Buffy the Vampire Slayer) sang songs with titles such as 'The Devil's Behind You' and 'Stones Throw From Hell'. These songs, written by John Sullivan, were arranged and recorded with the brief to give them the full rock treatment.
